Pros
The Beaumont Centre is a great alternative to the bustling streets of Saturday Leicester. There are a range of shops, from New Look and Superdrug, to a small pet store and hairdressers. Everything you need really is there mainly because there is a large Tesco and Argos, so for one stop shopping this centre really comes up well.
I like this place cos it has its own market and a bootsale on Sundays, which is the sort of thing I like. They also have a reasonable chippy there in case you get peckish (oh and there's a Subway and McDs for you Americanised types).
Cons
It's full of people from Beaumont Leys, which add a nice Chavvy aroma to the place.
There's no charity shop.
There's a massive holiday shop which no one uses which takes up space where at least three charity shops could be.
There's a kids ride in the middle that makes weird laughing noises when you walk past alone at night. It's scary.
It contains one of the most scallified and nasty pubs outside of Beaumont Leys itself. It looks tempting to go in and admittedly they do do cheap food, but don't do it!
