Brilliant local store (Recommended)

Pros I can hardly fault Jackson's as a local store - it was literally a 2 minute walk from my house (& I've lost count of the number of times I walked that in my pyjamas...) and it had all the staples and last minute ingredients a student could ever need! Polite, friendly staff and always well-stocked, you couldn't ask for more of a local store!

Cons As expected, things do cost more than they would at a larger store, but that's understandable. As most students didn't do their full weekly shop there, for milk and other staples it was perfect.

They have recently branched out into things such as jewellery and a more extensive stationary range which seem a little odd to me, but that doesn't detract from its usefulness as a local shop!
