great store (Recommended)

Pros This Argos store is a normal Argos store in a town centre location, the store itself has plenty of catalogue points and one set of catalogues have been lowered to accomodate people in a wheelchair. There is a jewellery counter instore. As well as the till points there are 2 self pay till points. Queues are rare in this store.

Cons Parking can be a problem.

Good service, (Recommended)

Pros This Argos is the tradational Argos, if you wanted an item that is from Argos extra this can be ordered to be picked up from store. The store has a jewellery counter, the staff are friendly and helpful and are brilllaiant at helping you spot that certain present. Depending on the amount of staff, is whether you pay at the pay point or the customer service point, but there are 2 self service paypoints if paying by card, it cuts out the long wait.
On average the wialt ofr goods are 5 minutes, but there is a small seating area to wait.

Cons As its a town centre location, you have to lug heavy goods, and also the service can be hot and miss as if they do not have enough staff on to man the pay points, you have to queue at customer services, and if you have someone returing an item theres a hold up.

Argos in town (Recommended)

Pros This is one of the original Argos stores, in the town centre, I have found the staff to be extremely helpful, even the managers have been seen to help the staff when they are busy, they delve in and help the queues. From personal experience, when I have enquired about an item that is out of stock, members of staff have checked other stores and if they are local enough I have took advantage of the reserve service. Nothing is too much trouble, any queries, be it as simple as does that toy come with batteries, (espically come xmas time) the staff take time to check, Its the personal touch that makes the visit pleasurable to revisit this store.

Cons Not the stores fault, just with it being a town centre store, parking is limited and therefore not pratical to buy heavy items.
