More expensive but worth it. (Recommended)

Pros Whenever you buy an item from M&S, you can almost guarantee the quality of the product. Yes, it may be more expensive but boy can you taste it (food products) or feel it (clothing etc).

Just recently I have notived that special offers on food have been introduced, which can only be a good thing. This has meant that it has now become possible to afford to buy the occasional Sunday roast ingrediants or mum treats (because we are worth it). I would like to buy our food there more often as you can certainly taste the difference in the quality of the food but alas, even with their special offers, it is not financially viable all the time. They have also started to reduce near to end of date items in line with the supermarkets - some great bargains to be had when this happens.

I have also started to purchase more clothes from here after a very surprising result on a recent shopping trip for shorts. All the so called cheaper stores were selling the shorts in excess of £12 yet M&S had superior quality ones for £6, we were pretty impressed with this but even more impressed when we reached the tills to be told they were actually in a sale and were actually £4 each!

For quality they cannot be faulted.

Cons Food can still be pretty pricey for regular buying, or a weekly shop.

great quality and wide choice (Recommended)

Pros Good marks and Spencer, taking up a large proportion of the town centre.
They have got a lot of womens wear near the main entrance and this leads on to mensware, followed by home and the food shop.
I’ll say more about the mens department, this is very good quality and prices are extremely reasonable.
You have your more pricey goods but even the cheaper items still wear well.
They do a couple of their own branded aftershaves and these are often on 3 for 2 and smell very nice.
The food hall is good and has loads of goodies on offer.
Not too pricey either

Cons None given.

still going strong (Recommended)

Pros I remember reading a few years ago that M and S was going a little stale, but it is quite the reverse nowdays! they offer a great range of goods in this store and it is really nice to shop in.
they have their per una range and most womens clothing at the front of the store along with a huge range of underwear and night garments.
the fitting rooms are spacey and the staff are very helpful.
there is a good range of mens wear too, along with a really nice home department, which has some really good deals and the items are of great quality. the food hall is very nicely placed at the rear of the store and has some beautiful items on offer and no it's not as expensive as you may think. there are also some nice flowers and plants.
the store also has a great range around christmas time and they have joined the other big names in the 3 for 2 offer, so your sure to get a good bargain.

Cons None

Changes with the times for the positive. (Recommended)

Pros Marks and Spencers is one of the original department stores, but one that has stood the test of time. The store here in Telford town centre, is a large store and is well laid out. There is a large food department at the back of the store, which stocks a wide rnage, from produce, wines and spiritsm birthday cakes (which are 10/10) and usual grocery items. The remainder of the store mainly the clothing departments, which each mens, womens and childrens all seperate, but they follw on well. each section has a variety of sizing. The clothes are good quality, and the prices are reasonable. When marks and Spencers have a sale the reductions are really good. The staff are friendly and helpful, and unlike some stores you can always find a member of staff on the shopflor if you have an enquiry.

Cons No cons.
