Boots - Cardiff Queen Street (Recommended)

Pros I visited the store a couple of days to buy some prescription drugs and found the prescription service counter staff to be very hepful. Two features which made shopping experience great were : a) Since we were to collect some prescribed equipment for testing blood sugar levels and this being an item that is not always stocked, we were told to deposit our prescription and the items would be ready in 30 mins. We shopped for other items during this period and all the prescribed equipment were ready to be collected in 30 mins. b) Since this is a rolling prescription, our next set of collectables would be kept ready for us in a months time and can be collected by specifying the name & address in the prescription. Two very good features from Boots.

biggest and best (Recommended)

Pros This store is the biggest and best Boots in Cardiff. They stock everything you may need from a Pharmacy and also have a large maek-up and perfume section if that's your sort of thing. Upstairs has a small baby section, and a very good photography area. I have twice bought digital cameras from their sales and found their prices have been impossible to beat elsewhere. They also gave me vouchers for free prints. They are also very good at heavily discounting old stock and its quite easy to walk in and come away with an unexpected bargin.

Cons None really.

Helpful staff (Recommended)

Pros The staff in this particular branch of Boots, particularly on the pharmacy deparment have always been extremely helpful. The staff have always offered helpful and accurate advice on not only medication, but on how to get the most advantage card points too! Great customer service.

Cons Boots Advantage Card makes it far too easy to spend (and justify spending!) lots of money in Boots.
