The Budget cinema (Recommended)

Pros This is the cinema if you´ve only got £10 in your pocket and you want snacks too. There are several screens, some of which are quite decent. Not usually much of a queue and easy to find from the train station, along Rye Lane. If you just want to see something because you´re nearby and bored, it´s adequate.

Cons Sound quality can be poor in some for some of the lesser screens. Not the safest area if you´re going for a late night showing.

Excellent (Recommended)

Pros A great cinema with lots of big screens and seats! Since it was renevated it is much cleaner and much better looking than before. The popcorn even seems to taste better! The lights leading toward it are very attractive and the price! ROCK BOTTOM!

Cons The price went from £3.50 to £5.50 so it's not as cheap as it was.. Also being in South East London you do get the odd group of yobs..

Cinematic Glee without the Astronomic Fee (Recommended)

Pros Cheeeeeeeap! I think it's currently at £5.50 all day everyday. Next to regular London prices, it is an utter bargain!
Screens are nearly always empty, so you can take your pick of seats and generally rely on not having a bunch of goons chatting and sniggering the whole way through a film.
Has a weekly artistic/foreign selection.

Cons It seems to change it's prices every now and again, but maybe I just don't go often enough to get used to a price.
