Joe's Fish and Chips (Not Recommended)

Pros A convenient position and suitable parking spaces available.
Friendly Staff
No problem in refunding money when we complained about the food.
In my view that’s the only positive thing to be said about this take away.

Cons Our first experience of this place was a bad one.
We ordered cod and chips, sausage, fishcake, burger and chips.
The chips were lukewarm and very, very greasy. The cod portion size was tiny.
The fishcake, burger and sausage were all of terrible quality and overcooked. You could tell that the food they served was the cheapest they could find. The burger and sausage had bits of gristle in them.
The only edible thing was the fishcake.
We took the food back and complained, opting out of another portion of food.
No thanks, I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.
We thought it may have been a one off and while staying in the area we decided to try it again.
Never again! Nothing had changed, this time we didn’t complain but accepted that we should have known better from our first experience.
A complete waste of food and money.
If you are ever in the area and need to get fish and chips, you’d be better off walking/driving onto Nacton Road.
