Bank on the Hill (Recommended)

Pros I have just opened accounts and have used this bank. Having gone late in the day, I missed the staff I needed to set up the account (sign papers) and had to go again the next day, first thing on a Saturday to avoid the appointment queues.

I did so and the customer services officer went and sorted me out straight away and so did the salesperson and then the teller to set everything up.

The branch is medium in size, with seats for you wait at each of the relevant areas. Even at individual interview rooms.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful and I this conveyed a good opinion on me as a customer. They certainly have been trained well.

Cons If you live near the bottom end of Streatham, say near the Common, even going towards Tooting, then you have a choice of going to either this Streatham branch or the Norbury one. They are in opposite directions to each other and a good 20 minutes walk away for each other from this point. So the distance to each is not a close proximity one.
