Pros I often stop by here on my way home after a good night out for a chicken soup, it comes with real bits of chicken and its well tasty.

I always find it to be busy in here so i know i aint the only one who loves this place, if you pass by in the afternoon you will see the traditional turkish women sitting at the back of the shop making bread.

Pros Don't be fooled by appearances: a good rule of thumb to live by in Hackney. Never was this so true as with the Somine Restaurant. It may look like just another Turkish cafe but try the food and you wont be disappointed. The Somine serves excellent soups and casseroles 24 hours a day, so after a night on the town provides a healthy alternative to a Doner kebab. The chicken soup is a personal fav and always comes served with a big plate of breads, pickles, and dip. Really cheap and really tasty. No wonder The Somine was voted best Turkish restaurant in Hackney. Also has vegetarian options.
