Useful frozen food venue - parking and bus stop compatible (lol) (Recommended)

Pros Iceland sells a variety of very good value basic frozen food and groceries. For many years it was the only supermarket in Harrow, but M & S and then Tesco opened to give the locals more variety. However, the town is still undersupplied with supermarkets - M & S is not a full contender, and Tesco is a very long walk from the town centre.

Iceland, therefore, still fills a valid need. It carries a rather too basic range of fresh fruit and vegetables, but a good range of frozen meals and ingredients, and some fresh meat at good prices. All food is basic (this is not the place to look for free range chicken) but cheap, and it is possible to assemble delicious meals from the products stocked here.

Cons Poor range of fresh fruit and vegetables, at prices which are not competitive with ordinary supermarkets.
