Pros easy parking facilities , only a 2 minute walk with the kids but they have done murals and sculptures to keep you amused on the way, entrance clear with slopes not steps which is good, wide range of all sea life you can look at touch and watch, great for the kids to be hands on, all ares different and really informative lots of questions to answer, we went on children in need day and they had loads of activities to do for children and it stayed open late for you, very open and well spaced so you can move freely without being squished or not being able to see, the gift shop was good and not over priced.

Cons sometimes the activities were a little bit high for the kids to do and they couldnt always tell what they were doing, the toilets are not easily signposted and we had to ask someone, was alittle bit pricey to get in but we had vouchers from the paper but it would have cost us near to 40.00 for 4 of us otherwise so its not a cheap day out and you cant really make it last a day as alot of the things to see are repeated over a few hours

Not bad (Recommended)

Pros there are lots of different specites to see most of the time,
They try to keep the kids interested with fun games which involve learning.

Cons I have been here a few times and each time the shark tank, which is arguably the best feature of the aquarium was practically empty. This is obviously quite disapointing and my neice was not happy!
I agree that the value for money isnt great for what you actually get, but I do like how they have fun features throughout to try and keep kids entertained whilst learning.

Pros well layed out and full of different fish to see.

Cons very pricey for what you get. good in wet weather but the queues to get in need sorting, maybe need more staff on tills etc.

Bit fishy? (Recommended)

Pros Honestly, when I planned a visit to this place I expected much more! It's very easy to get to however as there is a car park situated next door, when you are walking to the place it feels like forever especially when you see countdown signs saying how close you are. On the way in there's work by children on the walls decorated with shells and mosaic's. Ok so you get there and find out how very expensive it is, £11(!!) each for adults and £6.50 for children. Not the kind of prices you expect for a place you can only walk round for a couple hours at the most.

Yes it is an educational place and there's lots of different sea creatures and pretty coloured fish, but the layout is somewhat confusing and when you get back to the start you think 'was that it??'

There's a cafe which sells the expected overpriced drinks, crisps etc. If you do go I recommend taking a packed lunch as there are benches and tables outside to sit on!

Cons Quite disappointing, highly expensive and definitely not what you would call a day out!
