Pros a dark goth dungeon like restaurant which has no electric lighting just candles,a wonderful romantic atmosphere in the heart of the old town right by the castle, more staff than customers when its full even attentive waiters and knowledgable wine no it alls, a wine bible which is as thick as a phone book, all on the premises, the food is to die for and an excellent range in all courses, its pure luxury.

Cons all i can say is that you need to take mortgage to go

book well in advance to get a table, i mean months

Pros Fantastic yummy food and the setting is fantastic; right next to the castle. The dining rooms of which there are the main room and the secret garden both are charming.

Service is top quality and the staff are friendly and know their stuff.

Extensive wine & liqueurs menu.

Brilliant place to dine for that special occasion.

Cons Very pricey but you get what you pay for in quality.

Time between courses can be noticeable if you are dining at 8pm on a Friday and Saturday night

Don't expect to turn up at the door and get a table at a weekend. This restaurant requires advanced bookings and I'm talking about +4-6 weeks if you want to dine at peak holiday times as it's so popular.
