Good Yorkshire Grub (Recommended)

Pros The pub itself is set on the Cardigan Fields leisure park next to Vue cinema, Hollywood bowl etc. Though there is a lot of choice there it is the only 'family' bar, plus the only pub-styled, Yorkshire restaurant.

It is set up like a traditional Yorkshire pub with oak panelling, cask ales, and traditional food. I especially like the Sunday Roast, but on other days you can have steaks, burgers, salads, pasta and fish dishes. Light bites or larger meals.

Best of all meals are on the 2 for £10 deal so try and go as an even numbered party!! It's great value and although it's not haute cuisine it's absolutely brilliant at what it does.

It's clean, tidy and the staff are really nice. Parking is plentiful and free. Drinks are a decent price and all in all I'd go there again happily.

Cons I can't really think of anything other than how busy it gets at peak times, so you might have a little wait.

Pros This a little gem of a pub on a leisure park with a Cinema and Bowling alley and various other restaurants. They have a vast menu that included a number of dishes that are on special offer all in the 'pub lunch' theme, they can cook a great medium rare steak as well!

I have been here a lot with my family and everytime we are impressed with the portion sizes, quality and most of all the price. The staff are friendly and checkback on you during your meal to ensure you are happy (something a lot of pub restaurants don't do any more).

The pub itself is well decorated and isn't dingy so you can bring the kids without worrying about the atmosphere in there.

The deserts are amazing and I would recommend the sundaes as they are huge and I really do mean huge!!

The facilities are clean and well maintained and they have music playing and a TV screen showing sports.

Cons The only thing I would say is that it can get busy but it is worth the wait so I am not letting this affect the 100% score I am willing to give it.
