like it- but only just! (Recommended)

Pros This store is nicely placed as an excellent walk though if you ever face the task of requiring to shop in Lewisham Center. It can start off like this, then you can become sucked in after a pair of diesel jeans catches your eye...

The store has 3 floors; womens ware and luggaeg on the ground, mensware and childrens ware on the first, homeware on the third.

There are both escilators and lifts to each floor.

The store has a great many trainers, womens underware and mens jeans, it can be worth a browse if you need anything- they are likely to have it!

The store also stock jewellery, perfume and cosmetics, plus sizes, many trainers and cutlary, its quite wide spread.

Cons The store does need help!- can anyone out there help?! (joke!) its a bit of a mess at the best of times, its alot to do with the customers who get into the spirit of the "red flag to a bull" mentality and also due to Mr TKmaxx makeing stores stock items jam-packed, if theres room, get more stok, if theres no room, get more stock. Only this store seem to struggle more with keeping themselves neat and tidy.

The prices TKmaxx now ask for are too much, it used to be affordable, now its only a little under the real price tag, which could be plausable, except the tiems on sale are really many years old, passee or trodden on my customers trying to grab the next item they want.

In the event of finding an item that is ripped but you still want it, asking for a discount is hard, TKmaxx rarely do 10% off, any higher is like getting blood from a stone- its sometimes pointless asking.

The ques are very long for customer service.

The range of customers may out you off as many kids seem to like hanging out here, irritating as they also like to yell, scream and run around.

This is quite a large store and does stock quite a range of products, but its full of repeated items and nothing really really unique or special.

TK Maxx (Recommended)

Pros This store has a massive choice of cheap designer clothes. Considering the volume of the clothes, its all pretty well organised into types of clothes and sizes. The queues aren't too long for the tills and the fitting rooms. TK Maxx have a fantastic selection of shoes and bags as well.

Cons Not all the clothes are well....nice! You can see why some of the clothes are discounted. You really have to hunt through the shop for some nice clothes which makes shopping at TK Maxx exhausting. I would come here for a few bargains, but not for a stress free shopping trip.

Good for a browse (Recommended)

Pros TK Maxx sells cut-price fashion labels for men and women. They have everything from clothes, shoes, toys and accessories.

Their stores are normally large and have rails and rails of clothes, which are organised into categories but seemingly are quite disorganised also. They are not ordered by colour but by size and it is often difficult to find a decent garment amongst them.

The value is good if you like labels but compared to others like Topman and H&M this is not a good choice

Cons Not great for wacky dressers or for those who like well-fitted clothes generally
