Good park with handy cafe (Recommended)

Pros This is a good place to take the kiddies or walk the dog. The cafe has a little garden with tables and chairs and is a popular place to hang out and meet friends.
There is a childrens paddling pool, and a small animal park with various waterbirds and deer, some great trees, and lots of open space.
A nice place to take a picnic and escape the concrete.

Cons The toilets can be rather neglected looking, and service at the cafe can be woefully slow at busy times.

Lovely Park (Recommended)

Pros This is my local park, its great.

Its a large park with a lake and a pond, aswell as the usual ducks in the lake there are also some terrapins that sunbathe on the logs.

There is a lovely cafe in the park which has indoor and outdoor seating, there is also a nice little play area for the kids with swings, slide etc.

The park has some dog free zones for those who want to have a picnic without.

There are also some animals at the park, they currently have some goats, deer, rabbits, birds in an avery and a butterfly tunnel.

The circus and funfair are regular visitors and loads of events happening throughout the year.

All in all its a great place to relax, take the kids and the dogs for a walk.

There is also a place for the dogs to have a drink at the water fountains.

The park recently received lottery funding and is having some work done.

Cons None
