One of my favourite places in London!! Simply awsome fishmonger! (Recommended)

Pros I absolutely love seafood and therefore anywhere that shares my passion professionally rates highly in my book. They certainly do here, with a diverse, interesting and above all, fresh, selection every open day.

It's truly classic service the way it should be with plenty of cheery advice given if requested. This classic service can be seen in this anecdote; I came into Moxons years ago, fresh faced, wanting some oysters, and the french fishmonger on duty refused to serve me unless I promised him I had an oyster shucker as he didnt want me breaking every knife in the house. Not many places care in this way and would have just gone with the quick sale! Now my shucker is one of my most prized utensils and one I would highly reccomend one to any oyster fan.

They also sell wonderful things the supermarkets do not...live crayfish, razorclams, soft shelled crabs etc. And best of all for me they sell fantastic, delicious frozen snails, a set of 12, shelled, already in garlic butter, and ready from the oven in 8 mins, for £4.50... brilliant!!

Open until 8pm Tues-Fri so I can get there after work too!

It's great!

Cons Like anywhere good, they do run out of things if you get there late but I dont really see that as a con. Get there asap!
