its especially nice at xmas (Recommended)

Pros welcome to this winter wonderland. if you love christmas then this is the place for you! in one section there are loads of old fashioned toys/ stocking fillers with things like wooden snakes and wiping coxs and in the other it transforms into a one stop shop for xmas decorations. very high end ones too. mixed with the beautiful backdrop of york this is a must in winter

Cons not really a con but it is completely packed over xmas and is hard to move around

Christmas Every Day (Recommended)

Pros This place is great and I love just walking around it to see all the little decorations that they do.

Christmas is expensive enough at the best of times when you have to buy presents and food and on top of that you can only get the decorations near Christmas time. So the idea of having this shop open all year round just selling Christmassy type things and decorations is brilliant. Things are also really good value.

You can keep popping in to buy little bits throughout the year and it always brings a smile to my face when I walk in after having had a hard day at work. A real uplifting sparkle of a place.

Christmas - do you love it? You will...!! (Recommended)

Pros Wow, well, exactly as you'd expect this place is Christmas 24/7 here! Glitter and bows, Santas and Reindeers, twinkling lights, trees and candy canes, whatever you need for Christmas, you'll find it here (or it doesn't exist!)

It's a great place to go and stock up on decorations, at decent prices. The staff are helpful, and festive, of course, and the shop is well laid out and easy to access.

Cons Well the cons are that it's a tack festival! If you don't REALLY love Christmas it's a bit overwhelming really, some of the stuff is cheapy Japanese rubbish that I wouldn't let in the house never mind display proudly!

The music (Christmas of course) drives you MAD, I wonder how much the staff hate it!?

The cards and wrap are a bit tacky too and you can buy better, cheaper at say Woolworths or WHS.
