Nice Mexican Grill in central London (Recommended)

Pros Nice athmosphere, comfortable temperature, nice ambience music. Good server. Nice food also, well presented. Despite being very busy we were brought our food in good time,

Cons Deserts were ordered for our table of 8 people. Inexperienced waiter came with deserts and just left in one corner of the table with cutlery. I thought that was not good atitude as we as customers expect to be served individually otherwise we woundn't pay (not cheap) to be served.

Nice food, long wait (Not Recommended)

Pros The spicy food here is on par with some of the better Mexican you can find, as well as some Amercian type steak and sandwich options. The staff are friendly and try there best with the busy hours and it's entertaining when the Tequila girl comes round with a smile.

Cons You can wait for much more than half an hour for a table and sometimes they'll just queue you at the entrance door which is not very organised. It's very noisy if you get a table downstairs due to the lively bar, so if you're planning to have a good chat over dinner

Good for Christmas parties (Recommended)

Pros This Mexican restaurant is not what you would call the most authentic South American experience, but it is a great deal of fun and extremely easy to get to, being located in Leicester Square amongst all of the cinemas, and quite near to several of the theatres.

I have been here several times with friends for meals. The food is nice, the prices not too expensive, and the cocktails are nice. If there are no tables free they will park you in the cocktail bar to wait, be careful, as some of those drinks are very moreish!

The best time I had here was with a works Christmas party. We had so many shots, and ran riot, and as it was on a mid-week afternoon the staff let us have a fantastic time, as we were not bothering too many other people.

Cons The staff are mostly students, and so can be cheerful or useless depending on which one you get.

The food is kind of bland. It is nice, and edible, but you won't get a sense of having a unique meal here. It is a good place to take friends who are not too adventurous in their tastes. Don't take anyone who knows anything about proper food here, they will become depressed and drink far too many cocktails in an attempt to cheer themselves up.

About as Mexican as the blonde tequila girl, but just as nice (Recommended)

Pros In the heart of Leceister square lies an oasis of tequila.
Upstairs and half of downstairs is a restaurant. The front bottom half is a bar.

The food in this place is very good for the price. If you're with friends get the huge nacho platter. It's easily good enough for three people, worthy of four.

Steak sandwiches and wraps are a big part of the menu, wings and spicey munchies are all there. The menu contains lots of stuff. But I always seem to eat the steak sandwich because it's big and filling and it's gooood.

Every now and then you may be visited by the tequila fairy. Usually this is a good looking girl with a gun belt of shot glasses. I think it's about £5 a shot. She will furnish you with salt and lime and you're off. They're great sales people and good for a laugh.

I hope you like Spanish music because it's going to be going all the time in there. I do, so I'll live. So did my friend. So after chatting for a long time, we realised we were the only people left. The staff were happy to leave my friend and I nattering when everyone else had left (even the staff were nowhere to be seen) and to let ourselves out of the doors downstairs. Excellent place.

Cons They don't serve Guinness. :(
San Miguel it is!

And what's with the toilet doors? I've been there loads of times over the last year and they're still not fixed properly.
Meh, central London bogs... anyone surprised in Leceister square?
