Definately worth it (Recommended)

Pros Shunt is difficult to find, but wel worth the hunt. They have a section with live musicians that are either mindblowing or mindboggling, but always worth watching. The Place is huge and the long cavernous entrance is quite impressive. It's always filled, but rarely takes long to get in. At £10+ to get in it's not the cheapest, but I've paid more for places and had nowhere near as good a time.

Cons Sometimes you'll get lost inside here. But that just means you have a fun adventure for a bit.

Pros None given.

Cons Turned up 6 Dec 08 for this event, £100 a ticket plus travel and hotel in london, to find it had been canx, no warning, no apology, no refund, Shunt events are scrooge of xmas past, be warned.

Best club venue in London (Recommended)

Pros This is probably the best venue I have ever been to. That may sound like a big shout but believe me this is almost entirely unique. Its a little bit tricky to find because the entrance is so small and there are no signs for it. But basically as soon as you come out of London underground tube station there is a door way directly in front of you (you may notice a queue of people there). Once you get passed the bouncers you are lead along a long, dark cavenous path lit only by candlelight which eventually open up into a huge warehouse type venue. This is the antithesis of a poncey cocktail bar in soho so expect minimal decor and buying cans of red stripe at the bar (£3 a pop!) The DJ digs vinyl out of crate all night with tunes spanning the decades. This place is seriously random but seriously cool. Check out this place before it becomes too popular/pulled down by the council!

Cons it used to be a fiver to get in but in the last 6 months they have doubled the entrance fee which seems pure greed. Having said that though my business head thinks that was probably a smart thing to do from the owners perspective!
